Sister Pat invited me and my son to go to Ahotokurom following a family bereavement and to be there for the opening of the marketplace. Following a parish decision to support an African project a few years ago, I was involved with fundraising for the minibus (currently under repair following an accident). I joined Friends of Ahotokurom as secretary after my visit and am proud to be associated with the work.
