I had been friends with Doug and Trudy for some years when they told me about Ahotokurom and the work that was going on out there. I was very touched by the hardships of those in the ‘Camp’, but also very impressed by the work that the DMJ sisters were doing there and the transformation of the ‘Camp’ through the building project. I also met Mark Mantey, who is a true inspiration.

I work in IT development, and although my work does not involve web development, I do have an interest in it. So I built the first web site and I've been involved with Friends ever since. As I live in Peterborough I don’t get to the meetings very often but I do maintain a keen interest. And here is the second incarnation of the web site!
